Emerging from Brighton, UK, 10 Plagues was forged amid a worldwide pandemic, and what was supposed to be nothing more than a  recording project quickly became one of the most ferocious and exciting acts in the UK Extreme Metal scene.

The writing sessions became a cauldron of creativity, combining elements of Death Metal, Black Metal, and Grindcore.

In December 2021, 10 Plagues unleashed their first single, "There Were Demons In Me," a testament to their raw power. The track, produced by Nimai Pujara, showcased the band's relentless energy and marked the beginning of their ascent.

​

To bring their compositions to life with speed and ferocity, the band enlisted the expertise of Krzysztof Klingbein (Drums), renowned for his work with esteemed bands like Vader and Belphegor. His precision and intensity injected new life into their already formidable sound.

​

Completing the lineup, Hubert Więcek (ex-Decapitated) stepped forward to record bass, providing the final piece of the puzzle and adding a dimension of depth and brutality to their music.

By March/April 2022, 10 Plagues emerged from the shadows, delivering their debut live performances alongside icons Napalm Death and Decapitated. The band's explosive energy and relentless sound caught the attention of audiences and industry insiders alike.

​

In September 2022, 10 Plagues releases their monumental single, "The Valley Of All Sufferings." The release was met with thunderous applause, solidifying their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the UK Metal scene. Fuelled by their growing momentum, the band embarked on a whirlwind string of headline shows across the country, leaving audiences awestruck and hungry for more.

But their ascent reached a crescendo when they received the invitation – to open the ceremonies at the legendary UK Deathfest. Sharing the stage with icons like Hellhammer, Autopsy, Gorgoroth, Immolation, Massacre and Nuclear Assault...

Their indelible mark was left on the very fabric of the UK Metal scene.

As November 2022 unfolded, 10 Plagues proved they were unstoppable. With their follow-up single, "The Grotesque Harvest Souls," they continued to defy expectations, pushing the boundaries of their sound even further. Embarking on a sonic pilgrimage across the country, they graced stages alongside formidable acts like Defeated Sanity and Amputated, captivating audiences with their ferocity and sheer musical prowess.

March 2023 saw the release of their single "City Of Zombies," featuring the bass talents of Josh Gibbs (Solstice/Malevolent Creation). The track marked a significant leap in production, musicianship, and the maturity of their song compositions.

​

With their reputation spreading like wildfire, 10 Plagues continued to dominate the local scene, delivering bone-crushing performances in prestigious venues across the UK with renowned acts like Krysthla and BTK, leaving audiences in awe of their sonic assault.

The pinnacle of their achievements came in May 2023 at Incineration Fest, where they delivered a blistering performance that closed the ceremonies alongside legends Suffocation, Marduk, Asphix, Enslaved, and many more. The crowd witnessed the relentless power of 10 Plagues as they left an indelible mark on the metal landscape.
